 Message Board Overview
Solution

The message board in Elite Clubs is where all the different members of a Club can post new messages, read what others have to say, and reply to their posts. It is an online interactive forum where people from around the globe can share their thoughts and ideas in a public setting.

The 4 most recent messages are displayed on the Club homepage. To view the full message board, click on the “Message Board” link found at the top of the Club navigation menu. Once you are in the message board section your screen will be filled with all of the message board activity.

You can choose how the different posts should be displayed by selecting to view messages by either “date” or “thread”. If you view messages by date, then the most recent messages will be displayed first and the oldest messages will be displayed last. If you view messages by thread, then you will be able to quickly see all the messages in a particular conversation (know as ‘thread’). The messages will be indented so you can see which comment belongs to which original post.

As the message board fills up, more and more pages will be added. You can navigate between pages by clicking the desired page buttons located on the blue bar. If you know the particular message you are looking for, you can type in the message ID number in the provided box and press the “Go” button.

For each message board post you can see the ID number, the subject, who posted it (clicking on their name will load their Elite Profile), when it was posted, and how many times it has been viewed.

The “Message Board” buttons at the top of the screen will let you post a message, search the archive, and edit your settings (including picking an avatar and entering a signature).

To view a message, simply click on the subject.

You can post to the message boards VIA e-mail and can setup your Club membership so that you can get message board posts delivered to your inbox.
